Recently, the results of the 2024 China University Business Elite Challenge were announced. The “SoftTech for Future” team from the Engine United Studio, part of the School of Software Engineering (SSE), won one First Prize and one Second Prize at the national level.
01 About the Competition

The China University Business Elite Challenge, known as CUBEC, is organized by the Commercial Sub-Council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) in collaboration with various professional associations and organizations.
CUBEC comprises 13 professional competitions, including brand planning, international trade, accounting and business management cases, and exhibition innovation and entrepreneurship practices. It has attracted over 2,000 participating universities. The finals have been hosted in 21 cities acrossthe Chinese mainlandand internationally in regions such as Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, the United States, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
Over more than a decade, the competition has grown into a comprehensive platform that integrates discipline competitions, industry-academia collaboration, and international exchange. It has become a recognized event in higher business education, known for its extensive professional coverage, diverse competition tracks, deep school-enterprise cooperation, and broad international participation. The competition has gained recognition from the government, approval from enterprises, attention from the media, and welcome reception from academic institutions.

Project Details:
LawPro Pioneer is an AI-driven legal assistance system integrating contract drafting, legal consultation, law retrieval, examination assistance, and professional judicial tools. Using deep learning and natural language processing, the system understands legal contexts and identifies legal logic to provide users with accurate and efficient legal consultations and solutions. It aims to deliver one-stop, high-efficiency legal services for its users.

Project Name:MediSmart—Solving Public Healthcare Challenges and Personal Medical Issues

Project Details:
MediSmart is an intelligent healthcare application integrating multimodal capabilities and multi-agent collaboration mechanisms. It uses AI technologies to provide comprehensive health services, including preliminary symptom analysis, initial diagnoses, health advice, daily care guidance, medication reminders and management, medical diagnostics, and personalized health reports. The project aims to popularize public health knowledge, improve societal health standards, and offer accessible and convenient health management solutions for everyone through advanced AI technologies.

The “SoftTech for Future” student innovation team represents SSE’s academic and technological research community. Guided by outstanding academic and technical mentors, the team comprises graduate and undergraduate students with strong innovative capabilities. They focus on foundational and applied research in key software-related fields. The team operates through four studios—JingShu, InnoStudio, Metis, and Engine United—and welcomes students across the university with interests in artificial intelligence, software development, and algorithm studies to join their ranks.
