Ding Errui, Ph.D., Senior Engineer, Director of Baidu Vision Technology Department. Senior member of China Computer Society/China Image Graphics Society. In 2023, he was hired as "Hubei Industry Professor" by Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

Long engaged in computer vision and graphics technology research and development and industrial application work.He has published more than 60 papers in top AI journal conferences such as TPAMI, TIP, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, and nearly 10,000 citations, with an H-index of 48. He was awarded the second Best Paper Award in ICDAR 2019 and the Best Student Paper Award in IEEE FG 2023. He has been the organizer/Chairman of CVPR 2020-2024, CCF AI 2023 and the Industrial Chairman of ICDAR 2024. His work on graphics cross-modal and weak/semi-supervision has won the second prize of the National Technological Invention Award (2020), the Silver Award of China Patent (2022), the First Prize of Science and Technology Progress of the Chinese Society of Electronics (2018), and the first prize of Geographic Information Science Progress (2023).

As the head of the department, he led the team to strongly support the industry leading position in core businesses such as search, intelligent driving and intelligent cloud. Among them, the computer vision public cloud was ranked first in the market by IDC for three consecutive years, and the vision inspection technology also won the first prize of Beijing Invention Patent (2021).
